Vaishali Bhagwat

Vaishali Bhagwat is a practicing lawyer with 22 years of experience in litigation and advisory practice in Pune and Mumbai. Vaishali is a Civil lawyer handling general commercial matters, Civil, Employment and Property disputes with a special focus on Cyber Law and law relating to violence against women and children.
She is an advisor to several companies on commercial and employment matters including POSH , advisor to various educational institutions on Protection of children from sexual offences and advisor to several companies on Cyber law and privacy compliance.
Vaishali is a TCS Chevening Scholar on “Cyber Policy and Cyber Defense “ and has earned the Post Graduate certification from Cranfield University UK. She is also a Disha Alumni which is a prestigious program of the British high Commission on Innovative Leadership chaired by UK PM David Cameron and PM Manmohan Singh.

Vaishali has won several recognitions and awards for her pro bono work in spreading cyber security awareness and won the award by NASSCOM and Data Security Council of India in 2017 for her work in “Keeping children safe Online”. She was recognized by Rotary International District 3131 for her outstanding contribution as a professional by conferring on her the Vocational Excellence Award and the Change Maker Award and her work focusing on women empowerment was recognized by the “Rana Ragini award “ and the “Woman of Substance award “

Vaishali has served on several boards as independent Director at Renishaw India and Trustee at the Lila Poonawala Foundation.
