Suma J. Khazmo has over 15 years of practice in Media, Journalism, Publishing, Public Relations, Political Science, International Relations, International Law, Business Law, Business development, Legal & Governmental Advisory and Diplomacy, Business Development, VC Ventures / Acquisitions, Mergers and Investments. She has a Master’s Degree in International Relations and a Bachelor’s Degree in Media: Journalism and Political Science, from Birzeit University.

Moreover, she has over 10 years of experience in executive and managerial roles in companies related to the fields of: Optometry, Ophthalmology, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, R&D, Cancer & longevity Research, CRO, Pharmaceutical Regulatory affairs (FDA approvals, clinical trials… Etc.), Intellectual Property protection and management, as well as expertise in Media / Journalism and publishing and legal & business consultancy services. First and second round funding, Funding opportunities, troubled company turn-arounds and Senior level consultancy. She has a rich multiple sectors work experience that has enabled her to become a successful: Serial Entrepreneur, Investor, Startup Mentor & Accelerator, Philanthropist and Human Rights advocate.

She is currently the CEO, Senior partner and Co – founder of Regal Optics and Medical Devices©, which is located in Ramallah / Palestine, and focuses on importing / exporting medical devices into the Middle East and North Africa markets, and owns an ophthalmology clinic “Regalmedic Ophthalmology Clinic”. Furthermore, she is a senior partner at Al Hajal Optics Group- Khader Hajal©, a company that has a series of optometry centers in Palestine. She is also the Chairman of the Board of Al Bayader Media and Publishing Corporation, and the owner of Al- Bayader Political Magazine; a renoun Palestinian Political Magazine since 1981, which has also a Daily News Website.

Furthermore, she is currently the Spokesperson of Accelerated Evolution Biotechnologies AEBi who has developed the novel IP combinatorial biology technology, SoAP, that has enables them to develop treatments for many illnesses such as developing a COVID19 cure as well as developing the Cancer Curing concept MuTaTo©; which is the Multiple Targeted Safe Comprehensive Cancer Therapy. In November 2020, she became the first International Partner of the World Business Angels Investment WBAF Forum to represent Palestine. WBAF is an affiliated partner of the G20 – Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI) chaired by Her Majesty Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, The World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF) is an international organisation aiming to ease access to finance for businesses from start up to scale up to exit, with the ultimate goal of generating more jobs and more social justice worldwide.

Moreover, in December 2020 she became the General Secretary and Health tech / Healthcare Governor of the Global Startup Ratings Authority’s GSRA. The GSRA is a professional body designed to offer expert evaluations of startups, prior to them seeking investment opportunities. The organization comprises a global panel of experts from various industries, who evaluate and critique a multitude of pre-defined pillars within the business in order to rate their chances of success in the given market. Upon receiving the final rating from their allocated industry expert, a digital license will be issued, and also shared on the GSRA website. Furthermore, she has major contributions in developing Palestinian laws, regulations and legislations; especially in the fields of: human rights, Environmental laws and Animal Welfare Laws. She has contributed largely to the first Palestinian Animal Welfare Law, to be enacted soon. She is on the advisory board of the Bethlehem Animal and Environment Association.
