Confédération des Entreprises Citoyennes de Tunisie (CONECT)

CONECT is an employers union organisation which brings together small, medium and large private and public enterprises in the various sectors of the Tunisian economy. Its principal mission is to defend the interests of its members, to represent public authorities and various partners and act for the promotion of enterprise and initiative. It is also given as mission to render concrete services to its members as well as any contractor or start ups wishing to launch or develop (access to economic information, access to finance, training, coaching) or participate in business B2B meetings.

Having spent fifteen years studying and working with US Universities and ten years teaching at HEC Paris and the University of Tunis, Pr. Mahmoud Triki had the idea of founding a private university organizing its programs in English according to the norms of the top-ranked North American universities. His strategy consisted of inviting corporations, business leaders, scholars, and professionals to be founding members of the projected university.

THE IMPACT Over 13,930 Tunisian youth linked to employment and the wider world of work. 69% of EFE-Tunisie graduates are young women. 96 employers have hired EFE-Tunisie alumni.
