Sabah Alam Hydari

Sabah is a dynamic, multilingual, and performance-driven Transformation Consultant and Coach with 15 years of broad international business exposure in Europe, Russia, the Middle East, and South Asia. The daughter of a diplomat, she has lived in over 10 countries including Saudi Arabia, Russia, Egypt, Britain, U.S.A., Poland, Yemen, Mexico, India, and the U.A.E and has an excellent understanding of different cultures and their traditions.

Sabah has a Master’s degree, in Management Science, from the London School of Economics and has further specialised with a Masters from INSEAD in Consulting and Coaching for Change which focuses on creating and impacting change within self, teams, organisations, and communities through creation of a contained/safe space and art of facilitation. Sabah’s research and specialisation focused on integrating teams and creating team identity.

As Facilitator, Coach and Consultant for Corporations, Family Businesses and C-Suite Executives, Sabah creates a ‘holding space’ where individual and team transformation is enabled. She facilitates shifts in perception, helps to identify and address limiting thoughts, enhance empowering beliefs, and looks at strategies to impact behaviours which create desired intent. Sabah works with individuals at a deeper level looking closely at what is below the surface and managing the transition in change. As a specialist in team transformations, she addresses trust, conflicts, alignment, common purpose and goals and establishment of rules of engagement.

Sabah has intensive experience in the field of Emotional Intelligence, Conscious Leadership, Dynamic Communications, and Personalised Coaching and is certified coach for Leadership Circle Profile. She uses a range of strategies to achieve results based on individual needs combining group discussions, individual reflections, role-plays, interactive sessions, visceral experiences, and deep questioning.

Sabah is also an advisor at McKinsey’s Leadership Coaching Arm – Aberkyn. She is a Certified Forum Facilitator for YPO and served on the board for two successive years for the Greater London Chapter.

She started her professional career as a Strategy Consultant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and has extensive experience with strategy implementation, business process re-engineering and project planning with a range of multinational clients in the Retail, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Government and Media. Post PwC Sabah joined a technology start-up in London as an Executive where she developed and managed the commercial strategy for the business. She led a team of people and negotiated multiple contracts with blue chip retailers. Sabah, then, undertook her own entrepreneurial journey and founded a health Spa. She led the business, recruiting staff, directing marketing efforts, negotiating partnerships, managing clients, and expanding to other outlets. Sabah successfully sold the business.

Sabah is passionate about contributing back to society and is involved in various charitable initiatives. She acts as MC and Auctioneer for charity fundraisers including UNICEF events. In addition, she hosted her own talk show addressing social issues within Asian communities. Sabah was actively involved in the charity FLAME (Friends of Literacy and Mass Education) which runs home based schooling for street children in remote areas of Pakistan. She has trained the teachers in delivery and worked with health workers to monitor children’s access to safe drinking water.

Sabah is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi and Spanish and has working knowledge of French. She has significant exposure to Arabic and Russian.
