Specialist at Investing in, Starting & Building, “New, Innovative & High Growth ventures”, across sectors. Over the last 14 years, worked closely with the owners of “The Times of India Group”, as part of the founding & leadership team, to set up & build its VC/PE investment businesses – Brand Capital + SPRINGBOARD. Invested in and helped grow some of India’s biggest growth stories & unicorns.

    With investments in over 1000 Cos, across sectors/stages & over $5 billion invested, Brand Capital + SPRINGBOARD is the largest PE/VC fund in India. Extensive engagement with the Investee Companies, their Promoters, CEOs and CXOs to help build those growth stories. Brand Capital invested in companies across sectors and stages, many of whom grew to become big household names, eg. Future Group, Pharmeasy, IIFL, Flipkart, Byjus, Big Basket, Grofers etc. Also through SPRINGBOARD created new ventures from the idea stage, which became significant names, eg. Life Span, Ocean Beverages, Ichef, Moha, Local Banya etc. Rajesh managed the entire cycle from investing to raising growth capital to profitable exits.

    Started career as an entrepreneur, with own ventures in Advertising, Education, Apparels & FMCG. Earlier, worked in Senior Leadership positions with some of India’s largest conglomerates, like, The TIMES Of INDIA GROUP, CRISIL (S&P), KOTAK MAHINDRA, NIIT etc, helping them build new, inorganic & exponential growth ventures in new-age domains, which scaled up their businesses hugely.
