Polycab is the Number One Company in the Cables & Wires business in India, with a 17% Market share in the Organised sector, with over 6000 employees, 24 Manufacturing plants and a group turnover exceeding Rs 8000 Crores in 2018-19.

His role involves Change Management, Strategic interventions, Top-line and bottom-line responsibilities, building the brand, diversification and leading the company towards a very successful IPO and listing on 16/4/19. Share price and Market Capitalization doubled as on 5/12/19 and the Market Cap touched Rs 16500 Crores.

Earlier, Bajaj Electricals had moved from being a Rs 300 Crores company in 1999-2000 to becoming a Rs 3101 Crores company in 2011-12 with record high Profits , healthy Market Capitalization and a strong Brand Equity.

As Executive Director, he was responsible for various Business Units such as Appliances, Fans, Lighting , Luminaires and Morphy Richards. Various strategic functions such as IT, Advertising & Brand Development, Corporate Planning, Corporate Services, Manufacturing, Corporate Quality , Corporate Materials, Branch Sales Support, Logistics, Strategic sourcing etc reported into him.

His first job with Asian Paints Ltd. from 1982 to 1999 and rose up from a Management Trainee, to a General Manager in the company. He was amongst the Top 8 professionals in the Company in 1999. The company moved from a small Rs 60 Crores company in 1982 to a strong Rs 1300 Crores in 1999 with a market share of around 45% in Decoratives. He held roles such as Branch Executive, Branch Manager, Product Manager, Factory Manager, All India Sales Manager and GM – New Product Introduction. His core strengths, values and team work has been learnt during his multiple roles in Asian Paints. Having been part of Asian Pajnts IPO in 1982, he feel joyous to see the Company exceeding a Market Cap of Rs 1.7 Lac Crores at present.
