Jeanne Ng

Dr Jeanne Ng has accumulated over 25 years of experience, mainly in consulting and the corporate energy sectors.

She has almost a decade of consulting experience in Hong Kong’s environmental industry as one of Hong Kong’s foremost experts in air and greenhouse gas emissions inventories. In 2003, she joined CLP, a Hong Kong headquartered power utility company with operations across the Asia Pacific region and has since led the start-up of several in-house corporate functions including Group Environmental Affairs, Group Sustainability and the CLP Research Institute.

Jeanne is also the Founding Chair of the Hong Kong Institute of Qualified Environmental Professionals (HKIQEP), which was formed to carry out the ground-breaking mission of professionalising the environmental industry in Hong Kong.

Jeanne holds a BSc in Toxicology from the University of Toronto and a PhD in Environmental Management from the University of Hong Kong. She is a frequent guest lecturer on environmental and corporate sustainability-related areas and is an advisory committee member at various Hong Kong universities.

Dr Ng has been and continues to be involved in a number of international organisations ranging from the World Business Council on Sustainable Development, the Prince’s Accounting For Sustainability Project to the International Electric Research Exchange.
