Jacqui Kernot is currently a Partner with Ernst and Young’s Cyber Practice. She works with clients in the financial sector around all aspects of cyber risk, governance and compliance. She leads EY’s technology team for Macquarie Group globally which gives her insight into all aspects of technology risk and controls across the global WAM market.
She was formerly the Head of Cyber Security Services at Telstra and prior to that ran startups and larger businesses focused on cyber security. She has worked across the UK, EMEA and the Asia Pacific, in Financial Services, Telecommunications and Defence, Space and Intelligence.
Jacqui has been Chair of Females in IT and T for 3 years and believes passionately in the important role of women in shaping the tech industry and the way we approach problems moving into the Digital Age. Her purpose is to disrupt the patriarchal constructs which stop us from being effective humans at work. She is a former intelligence officer with the ADF and believes in the power of the right data to bring change.
