Hormuz Pundole

Hormuz Pundole is one of the city’s most successful young entrepreneurial figures who has been working with his family’s 112-year-old enterprise, C. T. Pundole & Sons, over the past 20 years and has gradually helped it expand far and wide by taking on more responsibilities. He fulfills his role as Company Executive Officer with great vigor, affluence, and thorough knowledge of the watch retailing industry. His double graduation from Pune University with BBA and B.Com has given him a niche in two of his finest attributes, accounts, and marketing, as were his majors. When asked what drew him up to where he has reached today, his belief is that is honesty teamed with hard work and dedication can take you a long way on the road to success. Apart from his academic education, he is grateful for the practical knowledge he has acquired from working with his grandfather and father which is a rare feat in itself as is a matter of pride being the 5th generation running the same business handed down from father to son. In the year 2010, Hormuz was elected as the president of the Zoroastrian Youth Association where he also met his wife Diana Pundole who is well known for her contribution and achievements in India for Women in Motorsport. Wherever Hormuz goes, the role of leadership comes naturally to him with people, young and old happily looking up to him, thanks to his unadulterated qualities of benevolence and philanthrophism. Hormuz and his wife are also members and silent benefactors of a lot of NGO’s, particularly MSSI (Multiple Sclerosis Society Of India) and Nivant Andh Mukt Vikasalaya and Suvidha Aandolan for which they have invested a lot of time and energy organizing and hosting a row of fundraising and charitable events individually and also with the help and support of the ZYA and otherkin. However, he staunchly prefers not to be vocal about his charitable work. A high-energy, fiscally conscious, goal-driven executive, Hormuz Pundole approaches every new business challenge with his intrinsic flair for creative problem-solving and measured risk-taking to drive home consistent bottom-line improvements. The year 2009 saw C.T.Pundole & Sons take a ten-fold leap in the company’s archaic accomplishments as it commenced its 100th year in business. It has been one of the few long-lasting companies in the city to have a consistent stronghold with the citizens of Pune. With a well-structured company strategy, Hormuz’s career continues to grow and flourish as does the goodwill that goes with his family. All in all, a fine human being, caring for others, an obedient and loving son, a good brother, most affectionate husband, and a doting father to his children. In short, one in a million! They don’t make men like these anymore!
