    Gregory Crandall

    Senior VP

    Greg started his first 15 years in Silicon Valley specializing in content and event services for Apple, IBM, Motorola, Silicon Graphics, Adobe Systems, and Disney. He followed this up with 20 years in Asia at which time he created his own agency Splash serving such clients as The Venetian, Cathay Pacific, Nokia, Hysan Avenue, and Mercedes Benz. In 2010 Greg made a move to the world of media as Publisher and GM of HK Magazine and later Hong Kong Tatler where he managed several of the city best in class lifestyle and luxury media titles. His job, engaging and growing audiences and connecting advertisers to customers. He has a unique understanding of the interaction of great content, digital, print, live and social media and the power of their interplay. In March 2017, with a desire to return to his technology roots and to apply his understanding of how audience engagement techniques, he re-joined the Pico Group and is now the Senior Vice President of Global Activation. Here he is responsible for the group’s global brand relationships and how technology is applied to build through-the-line channel experiences. This includes leading the group’s pivot towards virtual event technologies and how this is used to keep and engage audiences during and after the Covid-19 crisis. Greg has over 35 years in the content and experience design world. Starting his career in San Francisco he served Apple events for over 15 years and produced 8 Disney experiences. He moved to Hong Kong in 2000 where he built his own agency, became General Manager/Publisher of HK Magazine, and later Hong Kong Tatler where he managed several of the city’s print and digital best in class lifestyle and luxury media titles. In 2017 Greg returned to Pico and is now Senior Vice President of Global Activation. Here he is responsible for the group’s global brand relationships and how technology is applied to build through-the-line channel experiences. This includes leading the group’s technology team’s virtual event technologies and keeping and engaging audiences during and after the Covid-19 crisis.
