    Dr. Sugato Palit

    Managing Director

    Sugato has more than 25 of comprehensive experience in MNC & Indian companies – in established businesses as well as in start-up firms, including PE. He has worked in the FMCG, Consumer Durables and the Infrastructural Sectors. His portfolio includes heading HR, IR and communication for companies, with generalist responsibilities for most of his career. Having handled roles at a Global, Regional and National level, he has had a vast exposure in Organization Design and Transformation, Talent Acquisition & Talent Management, Career & Succession Planning, Employee Engagement, Training & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Organizational Structure & Design, Appraisal Processes, Reward & Recognition, Industrial Relations, including wage settlements, VRS & closures. Sugato has spearheaded Change Management initiatives, worked in Mergers and Acquisition scenarios, and also facilitated cultural integration in multi-locational and multi-entity situations. He has had the opportunity to build up the function/ organizational structure and management processes in several internationally reputed organizations. He has also facilitated one of the biggest acquisitions in the Indian beverage industry by transiting 11 plants and 2500 PepsiCo employees, across 6 states to the bottlers, thereby doubling the bottler’s footprint in the country. He is also a communications specialist and has handled Sales as well. In his current role, he provides strategic business advisory to the leadership team, through HR and related processes and supports in conceptualizing and executing Change Management, Transformational Leadership, Innovation/ Design Thinking (certified in the De Bono system), HR processes, Talent Acquisition (certified in Targeted Selection by DDI, Singapore), Harmonious Industrial Relations and effective Sales HR Partnering (certified by Franklin Covey).
