Multi award winning TV Chef /Presenter, Author, Speaker, Culinary Consultant, Innovator, President of the iTi chefs Jury, British Ambassador for Food and Ambassador of Taste for Global Gastronomy 2021.

Alan is a renowned international chef with experience in leading Michelin star restaurants and 5 star hotels, as well as a vast career in media, filming more than 1,250 TV shows to date for networks such as BBC, BBC Worldwide, ITV1, Channel 5 and Food Network to name but a few.

Alan was invited by the British Prime Minister’s office to become the “British Ambassador for food and drink” and is also the UK Ambassador for the “Organisation Mondial de la Gastronomie”,

International Ambassador and moderator for the “Chefs World Summit Monte Carlo , Judge for the International iTi Taste Institute Brussels , Judge for the World Gourmet Society and Honorary Patron of Unichef.

Alan is passionate about quality food, helping to promote, support, improve and retain quality within the food industry. He is a global inspiration for others, a natural motivator and mentor that strives to share his love of food archaeology, years of knowledge, experience, skills and culinary interests.

In May 2020 Alan was invited to become the “President of the Chefs Jury” for the “International Taste Institute” of Brussels.

In 2020 Alan was awarded and honoured with “Ambassador of Taste for Global Gastronomy 2021”
