Anish Trivedi

Anish Trivedi President & CEO of Alenka Media, a multinational B2B media solutions company. He is a former Food Editor at Elle, a Contributing Editor at GQ, and has regular columns in a number of Indian publications.    Considered to be synonymous in the country with single malts and cigars, Anish has been writing on wines, spirits and cigars for over two decades.    Anish has been associated with the single malt industry for a number of years, including in his role as the Brand Ambassador for Glenmorangie and Ardbeg single malt whiskies, and as the first Brand Advocate for William Grant & Sons, for Glenfiddich, the world’s largest selling single malt, and The Balvenie, the world’s most handcrafted single malt. He is an accredited whisky ambassador, and a trained taster.    Anish was a member of the tasting panel for Armenteros cigars, developing its original blending profile. He has acted as informal ambassador for Armenteros, and continues to work closely with Habanos in India to evangelise Cuban cigars in the region.  Anish Trivedi is President and CEO of Alenka Media, a leader in music and digital signage customer engagement for the retail and hospitality industries. He is also Chairman of the independent radio and specialised audio production company, Banyan Tree Communications. A former partner at the US investment banking firm, Oppenheimer & Co. Anish retired as Country Head, India and Director of Indian Research to make his hobby, radio and television, a profession. Also an anchor at CNBC and at CNN, with over 25 years of broadcasting behind him, he has been called one of the ten most influential people in the Indian radio industry. Anish has headed the Radio Committee for the Confederation of Indian Industry, and been a part of the Radio Panel for the Federation of Indian Chambers & Industry. He was also Co-Chairman of the Indian Merchants’ Chamber Information Technology Committee. Anish is a published author and columnist whose acting credits include the stage, Hollywood and Bollywood.
