Abhishek Basu

Abhishek basu is giving music in films, short films and jingles these days, apart from giving music for individual music albums. He is working as a music director with Avantgarde Films, production in Mumbai, and has also worked with Futureworks one of the top ranked post production houses of bollywood Mumbai. He has worked with leeya (ssohini)mitra de the director of avant-garde Films, and Abhishek de the creative director of futureworks, for few recent jingles of popular adds directed by abhishek de.

Abhishek basu has done the music direction for – SAJID NADIADWALA – THE NADIADWALA & GRANDSONS’ production house new logo jingle, alia bhatt , siddharth & varun dhawan starer IDEE EYEWEAR jingle, Saif Ali Khan starer image eyewear jingle, Vidya Balan starer Raanka Jewellery add, Metro shoes jingle, to name a few.

Recently in Hollywood he has worked as music director for a documentary feature on the life of Jimmy Hendrix.

In tollywood he is composing music for last 5 yrs.He has done music directions in tv serials & commercials in channels like Doordarshan Kolkata, ETV, rupashi bangle telefilms, Mohua channel, and many more. To name a few films in the list of his music directions – Hoyto Tomari Jonyo, Ashamed cupid, Ki holo, and few others in the pipeline. He has also directed music in few individual albums of upcoming singer in Bengal – like Mon anmone, Tomar Opekhay and many others.

His recent music direction work in short film ASHAMED CUPID directed by Rishin Banerjee, produced by 5FRNDS production house, has been highly appreciated. The film got nomination recently at EAST NORTH CALROLINA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2015, won best film critics award and nominated in best music direction category in 3rd Kolkata short film festival 2014, and few other to come up.

He has few upcoming Bengali films music direction projects this year.
